PayPal has frozen the accounts of most filehosts. The scramble is on for them to find alternative payment systems. This is a consequence of the ongoing efforts by a handful of very powerful demigods who want to vanquish the last vestiges of freedom on the internet. There will be a temporary 'fix' implemented soon and things will appear to be returning to normal but trust me - the worst is yet to come.

I have enjoyed my hobby of previewing, reviewing and sharing for quite some time but the winds of change are growing and will soon reduce the once golden age of our past-time to dust. We must look for a new promised land. I have found one.

Another DDoS Attack Silences BTB/SBB

It looks like we are the targets of very powerful DDos attacks and our server has been taken offline as a preventative measure. We are working with the appropriate agencies to assess the situation and develop an appropriate plan of action. We expect to resume service after 24 hours - hopefully, hehe. Gideon

Strictly Bareback Blog Still In Limbo...

The latest update in our continuing struggle to restore service for Strictly Bareback Blog is more of the same. The new server host seems to be as client friendly as the last.

We are waiting for their response to our request for information about an estimated time to restore service.

We have no choice other than patiently waiting for those 'rocket scientists' (morons) to figure out why our domain is not showing an address. They have their 'best minds' working on the problem for us (obviously).

We WILL resume and hopefully sooner rather than later but our hands are tied at the moment.

We just received word that Strictly Bareback Blog has been released. We are set to resume service in the next few hours...

More Delays For Strictly Bareback Blog

Strictly Bareback Blog WILL return soon. We have made all the arrangements. We were assured our domain would be released last weekend.

The problem now is we must wait for our former server host to release the domain. We have had an ongoing dispute with them for 2 weeks and they are stalling out of spite.

We have now contracted with a new host. They are working with the old host to get the domain released. Apparently the old host has up to 7 business days to effect the release according to the contract we agreed to. Now that the formal request has been made by our new host the clock is ticking and the old host will have no choice but to release our domain within the time frame. They will probably drag this out to the very last minute before they release it. They are petty enough to do just that.

I apologize for this lengthy delay but it is beyond our control. It is out of our hands now and we must wait the same as our blog followers.

We are sorry for the extended delay but it has been beyond our control.

We are working diligently to resume service as quickly as we can. Unfortunately our hands are tied until our 'former' serverhost releases our domain. Once that happens it will take less than 12 hours to propagate the blog to the new serverhost we have contracted with.

I am anxious to resume sharing more with my friends. I hope all of you will continue to check back for updates. I hope to be back online by the weekend but maybe sooner if the tide turns in our favor.

More delays from our server host have pushed back our return to service to sometime today or tomorrow but no later than day after tomorrow - according to them.

Needless to say our patience has reached it's limit.

Once we are back online and can access our domains we will be making wholesale changes regarding our host.

Arrangements are being made as we speak.

Please bear with us during this 'shell game' we must play until we have our hands free to do what is necessary.

The following excerpt is from a message we received from our server host today:

To all of our customers,
I would like to start by offering my apologies to all customers of ********. Over the past 2 weeks we have been getting constantly DDoS'd and unfortunatelly, it continues. Yesterday night CET, yet another heavy DDoS attack started on a part of our network – ******** ****. Next morning ******** notified us they were terminating our contract.
We are forced to migrate our virtual servers again. This time we will be spreading virtual servers over several locations and different datacenters to minimize damage of further attacks. We already ordered new servers and we expect to have everyone migrated in the next 48 hours.

These guys are doing the best they can under the circumstances. We hope the steps they have taken will be enough. If their troubles continue we may be forced to make alternative arrangements. Be patient with us as we are being with our host.

There has been an unavoidable delay in the re-start of BelowTheBelt Forum and StictlyBareback Blog.

We expect to be back on-line within another 2 to 3 days.

We have pristine back-ups of both sites for the re-start so there will be no problems with our database.

Be patient. We are working as fast as we can to facilitate the re-start.

The latest update from our server host indicates the migration is nearly complete and hopes to have service restored soon without any ETA.
